Del Morino Power Harrow 130cm

Del Morino linkage power harrows break up the soil to a fine tilth, refining and evenly distributing it over the entire working width to create a perfect seedbed. They are generally used for secondary tillage after ploughing or subsoiling and can break up even the most compacted ground, often in a single pass.

Power harrows are highly recommended from an agronomic perspective, as they do not invert soil layers. They enable extremely high crop yields by maintaining the soil’s natural composition, structure, and biodiversity. As such, they are popular in organic gardening. They also avoid the creation of an impervious sump, which can occur with a rotary hoe.

The power harrow is not a primary tillage implement. As a secondary tillage implement, it should be used on ground previously broken by ploughing, rotary hoeing, disc harrowing, etc.

ASSEMBLY

• Implements are shipped on a pallet and are either enclosed in a steel frame or flat-packed.
• Basic mechanical experience is recommended, as some assembly and pre-delivery are required.
• If the implement has a gearbox, it will be pre-filled with oil before dispatch.
• The operator should grease any grease points before use.
• A PTO shaft will be supplied. The owner may have to cut it to suit the tractor.
