Tractor Implements Limited Warranty
Our tractor implements are engineered for Australian conditions. Since 2005, SOTA has sold over 20,000 AGMAX and Del Morino implements throughout Australia. SOTA backs the performance of AGMAX and Del Morino implements with the best agricultural implement warranty in Australia—2 years. Our after-sales support is famous. Most implement suppliers offer 6-12 months only, and their spare parts offerings may be sparse or non-existent. SOTA carries consumables and spare parts for all AGMAX and Del Morino implements.
SOTA warrants all AGMAX and Del Morino tractor implements against product malfunction or failure under normal operating conditions for two (2) years*.
*Abnormal operation includes performing tasks beyond the intended design of the implement, collisions, and where routine maintenance has been ignored.
Items excluded from the Warranty
- Damage due to carelessness (ie, not using the implement in normal operating conditions).
- Damage or breakdowns due to using substitute parts not approved by SOTA.
- Damage or breakdowns due to negligence or incorrect use of the implement.
- Damage or breakdowns caused by modifications and alterations not authorised by SOTA.
- Damage or breakdowns caused by natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires, floods, etc.
- Damage or breakdowns of any kind, direct or consequential, relating to people or things, including the loss of fodder, agricultural products, or harvests, the hire of substitute machines due to delays, losses related to labour, or any other kind of loss.
- Damage caused by the purchaser or the user, and/ or unauthorised workshops.
- Costs attributable to normal wear and tear of the implement, including consumable items such as lubricants, cutting blades and all other ground-engaging parts, tyres, clutch plates, friction plates and belts.
Implement failures are rare. In the event of a failure, SOTA will repair or replace the defective implement. Implements replaced under warranty remain warranted for the balance of the 24-month warranty period. SOTA will complete the substitution or repair of the implement as soon as convenient after the warranty assessment.
SOTA accepts no responsibility and will not indemnify for direct or consequential damages occurring while the implement is being repaired or replaced. SOTA immediately owns a faulty part or implement that is replaced under warranty.
Claiming a Warranty
SOTA will promptly and fairly appraise any warranty claim it receives. To assist us in making an appraisal, we may ask for photographs and a description of the problem, such as how the implement was used, etc.
Note: SOTA will not accept returns that arrive before the warranty assessment is completed.
When an implement warranty is approved, SOTA will, at its discretion, replace or repair the implement. If this is not possible, SOTA will provide a refund. If an implement is replaced under warranty, the defective implement reverts to SOTA ownership.
The purchaser is responsible for returning the implement to a SOTA Dealer for repair/replacement and will bear the cost of dispatching and returning the implement. If a simple part is required, SOTA can dispatch it to the customer to fit it up, saving the customer shipping costs. The purchaser has no right to indemnity for further damages or any extension of warranty terms for delays in applying this warranty. SOTA will neither accept liability nor compensate for loss of time, vehicle use, towing expenses, commercial loss, or consequential damages.
Change of Mind
SOTA does not accept returns if customers change their minds. All sales are final.
Tractor Spare Parts
Interpreting, identifying, and dispatching parts is a time-consuming process. Tractor parts may vary within a given model. We may request photos, serial numbers, or chassis plate details if you seek assistance identifying spare parts.
When purchasing parts from SOTA’s online shop, we will provide purchase guidance for specific models and any part variations within a model on the parts website.
Spare Parts Limited Warranty
To claim a warranty on spare parts, you must contact SOTA before returning them to us. Depending on the issue, we may request information and photographs.
Faulty Spare Parts
In our experience, parts are rarely faulty, but if we do supply faulty parts, we will replace them or provide a full refund at our discretion. We will reimburse you for standard freight charges if you incur them.
Incorrectly Supplied Parts
In the unlikely event that, due to our mistake, we supply you with incorrect parts, we will either replace the parts with the correct parts or provide a full refund after you have returned the incorrect parts and we have received them. We will reimburse you for the standard freight charges that you incur.
Note: SOTA MUST approve all requests to return parts before you return them.
Change of Mind Policy
SOTA will not provide a refund if you change your mind, find a cheaper part elsewhere, or purchase the wrong part from our online shop.
Not Covered by Spare Parts Warranty
SOTA will not:
- Warrant parts damaged by you, either accidentally or during installation.
- Warrant electrical parts or hydraulic pumps.
- Pay compensation for loss of time, vehicle use, towing expenses, commercial loss, or consequential damages.
