Slashers are essential on most farms for cutting grass and unwanted growth. A slasher can also tidy up along fence lines, wall edges, roadsides, and maintain firebreaks.

AGMAX slashers are robust, simple to operate, maintain, and service. They have a bulletproof construction in a traditional design.

AGMAX slashers are built to withstand Australian conditions and feature a high-quality gearbox for enhanced reliability.

ASSEMBLY

  • Implements are shipped on a pallet and are either enclosed in a steel frame or flat-packed.
  • Basic mechanical experience is recommended, as some assembly and pre-delivery are required.
  • If the implement has a gearbox, it will be pre-filled with oil before dispatch.
  • The operator should grease any grease points before use.
  • A PTO shaft will be supplied. The owner may need to cut it to suit the tractor.

Please note that local pickup is only available at branches with stock. Implements are shipped from the nearest available location.

Slashers are the most frequently requested tractor implement in Australia, and SOTA Tractors carries a broad range of AGMAX slashers in stock to suit both small and large acreages.

A general-purpose slasher is suitable for most farms for maintaining paddocks and lighter growth.

For denser, heavier growth, we recommend a heavy-duty slasher.

A flail mower may be better if you regularly clear small saplings, suckers and tree debris. If you’re unsure, please contact SOTA; we’ll gladly advise you.
