A bale grab, also known as soft hands, is a hydraulic attachment designed to grip round bales and, in the case of silage, without damaging the plastic wrap. A bale grab is commonly used to transport bales from the field to storage or from storage to feeding areas.

The AGMAX bale grab’s curved arms are hydraulically controlled to squeeze and hold the bale gently. Unlike spike-based bale handlers, a bale grab is ideal for wrapped bales because it doesn’t puncture or tear the plastic wrap. The AGMAX bale grab is a convenient euro-hitch attachment.

ASSEMBLY

  • Implements are shipped on a pallet and are either enclosed in a steel frame or flat-packed.
  • Basic mechanical experience is recommended, as some assembly and pre-delivery are required.
  • If the implement has a gearbox, it will be pre-filled with oil before dispatch.
  • The operator should grease any grease points before use.
